Surah Mulk (The Sovereignty/The Kingdom) is the 67th chapter of the Quran, revealed in Mecca. It powerfully emphasizes Allah's absolute sovereignty, creative power, and control over the entire universe and life after death. It invites reflection on the signs of creation as proof of His existence and wisdom, warns sternly against rejecting the truth and the inevitable accountability in the Hereafter, and vividly describes the consequences for disbelievers. It is highly revered, especially recited nightly for its reported protective intercession on behalf of its reciter.
